The method for controlling a message of a paging system used by the subscriber mobile communication equipment includes: determining the connection status of the subscriber mobile communication equipment with a wireless access apparatus connected to the Internet; controlling the message of the paging system according to the first paging cycle if the subscriber equipment is connected with the wireless access apparatus; otherwise, controlling the message of the paging system according to the second paging cycle, wherein the first paging cycle is longer than the second cycle, and the second cycle is equal to the cycle according whereto the base network transmits the message of the paging system.
