SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in internal combustion engines. The method for cleaning the fuel electromagnetic nozzle of a gasoline engine is carried out using forced high-frequency oscillations of the shut-off valve. High-frequency oscillations of the valve are created during normal operation of the engine by changing its control mode. To change the control mode of the nozzle during the cleaning procedure, a control unit is installed in the control circuit. The control unit reacts to the standard nozzle control signal from the engine control unit, but at the same time distorts this signal to ensure high-frequency oscillations of the shut-off valve.

EFFECT: ability to enable or disable the cleaning mode directly on the running engine.
