FIELD: engines.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for diagnostics of fuel feed systems of internal combustion engines (ICE). Complex and implemented by it diagnostic technique are intended for fast, accurate, environmental and fire safe on-board diagnostics in place and in motion of automative ICE fuel supply system (FSS) equipped with system injecting petrol at low pressure. It includes standard equipment of OBD II vehicle onboard diagnostics system, additional equipment, diagnostic scanner and SW compatible with OBD II which generates and stores diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) of FSS elements in memory of ICE electronic control unit, as well as processes and displays information in the form of figures and combined curves in real time of current values of FSS parameters.

EFFECT: diagnostic method consists in fact, that based on the analysis of obtained information on DTC and FFS parameters one determines reliable FFS diagnosis and localizes defect that is necessary condition for timely normalization of ICE operation and toxicity of exhaust gases.
