FIELD: biotechnology.

SUBSTANCE: invention is a strain of NEFU-Ajac-1 of the Yakut wormwood callus culture (Artemisia jacutica Drobow) obtained in vitro, identified and deposited in the All-Russian Collection of Cultured Cells of Higher Plants (ARCCC HP) at the Institute of Plant Physiology of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS), registration number 100. The strain is used to produce the biomass of Artemisia jacutica Drobow cells and is characterized by stable growth parameters and distinctive features: non-morphogenic, homogeneous, loose, hydrated, having a greenish-beige hue, in addition, it contains two morphological groups of cells: parenchymal cells of rounded and elongated and/or worm-like elongated shape.

EFFECT: invention can be used in pharmaceutical industry as a raw material for production of valuable biologically active compounds (flavonoids, phenolic compounds, etc.).
