SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biotechnology, in particular to cultivation of a suspension cell culture of a plant of a snakehead (Dracocephalum palmatum Steph.) and can be used to obtain a biomass of suspension cells. Strain NEFU Dpalm-2 of the suspension culture of the snakehead cells, obtained in vitro, is identified and deposited in the Russian National Collection of Cultivated Cells of Higher Plants at the Institute of Plant Physiology of the Russian Academy of Sciences, registration number 118. Strain is used to produce biomass of Dracocephalum palmatum Steph. cells and is characterized by stable morphological, biochemical and growth characteristics.

EFFECT: declared invention can be used in pharmaceutical industry to produce raw material containing valuable biologically active compounds (flavonoids, phenol compounds).
