FIELD: internal combustion engines.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the purification of exhaust gases from diesel internal combustion engines and the regeneration of particulate filters. The proposed device contains a particulate filter, a first microwave generator, a second microwave generator, an amplifier and a comparator. At the same time, the first microwave energy input element, the second microwave energy input element, the first power supply unit, the second power supply unit, the microwave energy output element, a metal mesh placed inside the gas duct, an amplitude detector and a calculator calibrated in mg/m3 are introduced into it. The particulate filter is attached to the mesh surface. The first and second microwave generators have different frequencies and oscillation powers. The output of the first power supply unit is connected to the power supply input of the first microwave generator, the output of which is connected to the first microwave energy input element. The output of the second power supply unit is connected to the power supply input of the second microwave generator, the output of which is connected to the second microwave energy input element. The output of the microwave energy output element through the amplitude detector is connected to the input of the amplifier, the output of the latter is connected to the input of the calculator, the output of the calculator is connected to the input of the comparator, the output of which is connected to the power input of the second power supply unit.

EFFECT: simplified procedure for cleaning the particulate filter from soot is provided.
