FIELD: engine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: device comprises discharging chamber made of metallic pipe filled with dielectric agent and provided with through opening for flowing gas, filter of carbon black particles and catalyzer set in the opening at the pipe ends, source of microwave energy mounted on the metallic pipe and having casing made of a segment of cylindrical surface connected with the pipe via sides and faces coaxially to the pipe. The wall of the pipe is provided with two ports that are shifted one with respect to the other in azimuth by 90 degrees . The casing has opening to provide connection with the rectangular wave guide. The sides are in coincidence with the longitudinal edges of the ports of the chamber pipe, and cross-sections that pass through the faces are in coincidence with the transverse edges of all ports. The wide side of the rectangular wave guide is oriented along the axis of the device. The source of microwave energy is positioned above the catalyzer, and this section is provided with an electrode that is oriented along the axis of the chamber and connected with the source of pulse voltage. The filter of carbon black particles and catalyzer may be made of ball particle made of a dielectric material.
EFFECT: enhanced quality of purification.
