FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method is carried out on machines with numerical control and includes workpiece processing with interruption of tool advance. When processing, three tools installed simultaneously on machine are used sequentially, two of which are designed for cutting, and the third one is designed for pressure processing. At this, the workpiece is rotated with a constant preset frequency during the entire processing, which includes the following sequential actions: longitudinal motion of the first tool and workpiece turning along the outer diameter in one pass into the final size of the part, removal of the first tool after the completion of turning to the initial position, radial motion of the second tool with cutting into the body of the workpiece to a depth of 0.35 to 0.45 of the radius of the part in the place of workpiece segment to form an entry chamfer and deburring, stopping the radial motion of the second tool, standing the second tool for a given time to clean the entrance chamfer, processing the workpiece by pressure by impact on workpiece in the radial direction with the third tool to break off the part from the workpiece and removing the third tool from workpiece in radial direction. Processing can be carried out at workpiece rotational speed at least 3000 min-1. The duration of the second tool stand after cutting into workpiece body can be from 2 to 5 seconds.
EFFECT: service life of the machine is increased due to operation at a constant speed of workpiece rotation and processing accuracy.
