FIELD: foundry engineering.

SUBSTANCE: model unit for moulding a shell mould for manufacturing elements of a gas turbine engine by the method for casting with smelted models, having a longitudinal axis (X), comprises models of a filling basin (2), a central riser (3), elements (4) of a gas turbine engine, channels (5) for siphon piping of the molten metal into shell moulds of the elements (4) and the manipulation implement. The model of the manipulation implement is placed independently of the models of the elements (4) of a gas turbine engine and of the models of the channels (5) for the siphon piping, ensuring the absence of fluid communication of the moulded shell moulds of the manipulation implement and the elements (4) of a gas turbine engine. The moulded shell mould (6) of the manipulation implement is made in fluid communication with the moulded central riser (3).

EFFECT: aeration of the model unit and increase in the rigidity and strength thereof during casting are provided; isolation of the manipulation ring from the blade elements provides a reduction in the stresses and plastic deformations during hardening and cooling.
