FIELD: foundry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of foundry production and can be used in casting by melting models in the production of aircraft blades by directional crystallisation. Rod (7) for casting an aircraft blade, configured to be placed in the casting cavity (5) of the casting mould (3), comprises a body (13) forming the inner shape of the blade, and an impact section (15) forming the consumable section of the blade to be subsequently cut. The impact section is located in at least a part of the contour of the body (13) and comprises a base (21), a top (17), and a deflecting wall (19) with a shape converging from the base (21) to the top (17). Upon contact with the impact section when filling the casting cavity, the jet of a fluid medium is broken, providing a possibility of reducing the influence of the jet on the rod, limiting the displacement thereof and maintaining the size and position of the inner shape of the blade.
EFFECT: recrystallised grains and cold cracks in the blade are reduced due to the displacement of the areas of transition of stresses arising during crystallisation to the level of the impact section.
