FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of casting, and more particularly to the shell mold, as well as to methods for such shell mold manufacturing and using. Shell mold comprises a central cylinder, molding cavities disposed in the assembly around the central cylinder, and at least one heat shield provided perpendicular to said main axis. Central cylinder extends along the main axis between the casting bowl and the base. Each mold cavity is connected to the casting bowl by at least one supply channel, as well as by means of a selector gate with a starter at the base. At least one heat shield is completely surrounding each said molding cavity in a plane that is substantially perpendicular to said main axis.
EFFECT: directional crystallization of the molten metal in the molding cavities of the shell mold is ensured.
