FIELD: aircraft engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for assessing the spatial position of a helicopter-type aircraft. To assess the spatial position, before starting the landing, the values of the pitch, roll and yaw angles, height, location, speed of descent are recorded, the difference values of the above parameters are determined during the descent and compared with the specified values. If certain conditions are met, landing continues.
EFFECT: safety of aircraft landing is improved.
