FIELD: tobacco industry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to battery-powered aerosol generating devices, and, in particular, to a method and management system for supplying power to an aerosol generating element, which increases the reliability of the device in various operating conditions. A method is proposed for managing power supplied to aerosol generating element (4) of aerosol generating device (1), while aerosol generating device (1) contains aerosol generating element (4), control unit (3) and battery (2) for supplying power to the aerosol generating element and to the control unit, while the control unit is made with the possibility to regulate duty cycle (DC) of current supplied from the battery to the aerosol generating element, while the method includes stages of: measurement by means of measuring unit (25) of at least one first characteristic (Tbat) of battery (2), while at least one first characteristic (Tbat) of the battery includes battery temperature (Tbat); and regulation by means of control unit (3) of a value of duty cycle (DC) based on a given rule, which outputs the value of duty cycle (DC) based on at least one measured characteristic (Tbat) of the battery.
EFFECT: possibility of using the highest possible duty cycle, maintaining the voltage on the control unit at the level of the minimum operating voltage or higher.
