FIELD: veterinary medicine; surgery.
SUBSTANCE: two ports are used to access the ovaries through the abdominal cavity. As a first-order port, access through the mouth and esophagus to the stomach is performed. As a second-order port, access through the stomach wall inside the abdominal cavity to the ovaries is performed. A flexible endoscope is inserted through the mouth into the esophagus and then into the stomach. Under the control of the endoscope, elongated surgical manipulators are inserted into the stomach through the mouth and esophagus. An access zone is outlined on the stomach wall. The access is performed from the stomach to the abdominal cavity through the stomach wall. The position of the ovaries is determined. Elongated manipulators are inserted into the endoscope. The mobilization of the first ovary is carried out. Using a polypectomy loop, ligation of vessels of the ovary, the suspending ligament of the ovary, and the own ligament of the ovary is performed. The mobilized first ovary is captured by the polypectomy loop and extracted into the stomach, then it is extracted through the esophagus and mouth outwards. The described sequence of actions is performed to remove the second ovary from the opposite side. The second-order port is closed. The dissection is sutured from the side of the gastric mucosa.
EFFECT: method provides low-traumatic removal of the ovaries without the use of through incisions or punctures of the abdominal wall, minimizes risks of infection and complications, ensures the stability of the surgical wound during the motor activity of the animal, rapid recovery after surgery.
