FIELD: construction industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of construction and can be used in residential development of urban areas in regions with increased seismic activity. The earthquake-resistant structural element of the residential development of the microdistrict includes buildings and engineering communications and is additionally equipped with a channel and a box with engineering communications located inside it, while the channel and box are made of reinforced concrete slabs of the bottom, walls and coatings, and a horizontal structural gap is formed between the plates of the bottom of the box and the bottom of the channel with identical individual metal bowl-shaped recesses that are coaxially fixed to adjacent plates. Metal balls with freedom of movement in any direction of the horizontal plane are placed inside the bowl-shaped recesses, and vertical structural gaps of at least the diameter of the metal bowl-shaped recess are formed between the walls of the channel and the box. The foundation of each building, located below ground level, is made in the form of a platform consisting of two horizontal upper and lower plates, between which a horizontal structural gap is formed with metal balls placed in it, similar to the gap between the plates of the bottom of the box and the bottom of the channel, and vertical structural gaps are formed between the upper plate of the foundation platform of the underground part of the building and the surrounding soil reinforced with a concrete wall, no less than the diameter of a metal bowl-shaped recess. The vertical gap between the upper plate of the platform with the underground part of the building and the concrete wall of the surrounding soil is blocked from above along the perimeter of the building by a protective sliding stone riprap.
EFFECT: complete isolation of the housing estate of the microdistrict from destructive horizontal seismic vibrations, ensuring long-term trouble-free and safe operation of buildings and utilities, as well as ensuring the safety of its residents.
