FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction and can be used for construction of storage facilities for oil and gas in earthquake-prone areas. Earthquake-resistant tank includes a bottom and a pile grillage, between which a structural gap is formed, by means of support elements in the form of metal balls located in coaxial metal bowl-shaped cells with possibility of their free movement in horizontal plane, at that diameter of cells is more than value of standard seismic displacements. Upper bowl is attached to the bottom of the tank, and the lower one - to the pile grillage. Between the reservoir and the ground there is a gap, the value of which corresponds to the diameter of the metal bowl-shaped cell. Gap is covered with a blind area, one end of which is fixed on the tank body, and the other end has a sliding seam in places of contact with soil.
EFFECT: technical result consists in elimination of hydraulic impacts on reservoir.
