FIELD: applicators.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for applying viscous material to an edge of a structural element, in particular, varying in width. The invention concerns an executive body with an application block, as well as a manipulator with such an executive body and/or with such an application block. The invention is represented by an application block for applying viscous material (4) to edge (5) of structural element (6), which varies, in particular, in width (BK) and/or position, wherein application block (3) has die (7) for applying viscous material (4) to edge (5) of a structural element with outlet (8) adjustable in width (BA), and wherein application block (3) has first control element (9) with surface (9a) adjacent to structural element (6) and second control element (10) with surface (10a) adjacent to structural element (6), wherein first control element (9) and second control element (10) are prestressed in opposite directions (R1,R2) by means of prestressing device (11), and wherein width (BA) of outlet (8) can be adjusted depending on the distance between surface (9a) of first control element (9) adjacency and surface (10a) of second control element (10) adjacency. The invention also relates to an executive body with an application block, a manipulator with an executive body and/or an application block, a method for applying viscous material (4) to edge (5) of a structural element.

EFFECT: increase in the reliability of applying viscous material to edges of structural elements of complex configuration.
