FIELD: welding production.
SUBSTANCE: method includes projecting an energy beam onto a contact zone between parts, for example, a laser beam, which is projected to form a base spot on a contact zone and is scanned in two directions in a repetitive manner in accordance with a scanning scheme to create an active spot on connected parts, which is characterized by a two-dimensional energy distribution. The active spot is moved along the contact zone for gradual melting of mating parts of parts with the formation of a welded joint. In addition, the two-dimensional energy distribution of the active spot is dynamically adapted during its movement, taking into account the presence of recesses, through holes or protrusions in one of parts, or in accordance with changes in thickness and/or material in parts, or when the active spot is moved along a curved trajectory, while the two-dimensional energy distribution is asymmetric.
EFFECT: use of the invention makes it possible to improve the quality of the weld, while simplifying the equipment used.
