FIELD: ultra-high frequencies equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the ultra-high frequencies equipment of and is intended for multiplying the frequency of microwave signals in communication, radar, radio navigation, various measuring and special radio equipment systems. The frequency multiplier on a thin magnetic film contains an irregular quarter-wave resonator grounded from one edge. The dimensions of the resonator conductors are selected in such a way that the resonant frequency of its second mode of oscillation is exactly twice the resonant frequency of the first mode of oscillation, and the resonant frequency of the third mode is not a multiple of the resonant frequency of the first mode of oscillation. A thin magnetic film is placed between the strip conductors of the resonator and the grounded base near the short-circuited part of the resonator.
EFFECT: increase in the conversion coefficient of the device while maintaining radiation resistance.
