FIELD: microwave technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to microwave technology and is intended to multiply the frequency of microwave signals in communication systems, radar, radio navigation, various measuring and special radio equipment. The frequency multiplier on a strip resonator with a magnetic film contains a metal base serving as a screen, segments of microstrip lines and a thin magnetic film deposited on a substrate, and the strip conductors of the segments of microstrip and asymmetric strip lines form a half-wave irregular resonator in the form of the letter "P", wherein the dimensions of all its strip conductors are selected in such a way that the resonant frequency of the second oscillation mode of the resonator is exactly twice the resonance frequency of its first oscillation mode f1, and the resonance frequency of the third oscillation mode is not a multiple of the frequency f1, while a thin magnetic film is located between the conductors of the segments single-ended overhead stripline lines and a resonator shield, and the output signal is picked up at the point where the voltage node is located for the input signal
EFFECT: increasing the conversion factor of the device and reducing the size while maintaining radiation resistance.
