FIELD: ferrous metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of ferrous metallurgy, in particular to a charge for the production of vanadium cast iron. The charge contains highly basic agglomerate and/or non-fluxed pellets, blast-furnace vanadium-containing iron flux, metallurgical coke, pitch coke, iron and vanadium-containing additives and red mud, which contains,%: Fe2О3 45.0-55.0, V2O5 0.4- 1.0, Al2O3 14.0-18.0, TiO2 4.0-7.0, CaO 8.0-13.0, SiO2 7.0-11.0, CaO/SiO2 1.15-1.20. The ratio of the components is as follows, wt.%: iron-containing additives - 0.3-2.0; vanadium-containing additives - 0.2-1.5; metallurgical coke - 15-20; pitch coke - 0.1-2.0; blast-furnace vanadium-containing iron flux - 6.0-12.0; red mud - 1.5-2.5; highly basic agglomerate and/or non-fluxed pellets - the rest.
EFFECT: charge has increased gas permeability, uniformity of sintering, increased resistance to self-destruction of the highly basic agglomerate when it is cooled, when using it, an increase in the productivity of a blast furnace and a decrease in coke consumption are achieved.
