FIELD: ferrous metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of iron-ore agglomerate. Mixture for production of iron-ore agglomerate contains iron-containing materials, vanadium-containing materials, flux, solid fuel and ferromanganese concentrate, with the following ratio of components, wt.%: flux 2.0–20.0; ferromanganese concentrate 0.5–20.0; solid fuel 1.0–10.0; vanadium-containing materials 2.0–40.0; iron-containing materials are the rest. Charge contains coke and/or substitutes as solid fuel. As vanadium-containing materials, it contains converter slags in the form of mono-process slag and/or vanadium-containing converter slag (VCS), and/or duplex process slag—steel converter slag (SCS) and/or mixtures based thereon and/or high-titanium concentrate. Ferromanganese concentrate contains the following, wt.%: Fe 25–45; V2O5 2.0–4.5; MgO 1.0–3.5; Mn 5.0–12.0; CaO 0.4–3.5; SiO2 10.0–22.0.
EFFECT: higher content of vanadium and manganese in agglocharge and finished agglomerate, which leads to improvement of blast-furnace slag mobility and increase of vanadium content and vanadium extraction coefficient in blast-furnace melting.
