FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, particularly to a charge for production of vanadium cast iron. Charge contains, wt%: metal additives and fluxes 0.5–8.0, coke 13.0–21.0, desulfurization slag 0.1–4.0, iron ore is the rest.
EFFECT: invention reduces consumption of iron ore in form of non-fluxed pellets and/or high-basic agglomerate and coke consumption, as well as increases efficiency of blast furnaces, increases input of vanadium into blast-furnace melting, which increases extraction of marketable vanadium.
