FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemical engineering and can be used to produce highly pure halide salts by zone recrystallisation, particularly in pyrochemical processing of nuclear fuel, chemical and electrochemical synthesis of elements and compounds in obtained salts. Proposed unit comprises unit 1 for zone recrystallisation of salt; inert gas supply system, including inert gas supply and cleaning unit 14, fore vacuum pump 15 and stationary furnace 16 of glove box 7; equipment for implementation of auxiliary actions with cleaned salt, placed in glove box 7 with inert gas and containing grinder of salts 8, analytical balance 9, container for storage of salts 10, niche for storage of salts 11, retort for drying and remelling salts; wherein unit for zone recrystallisation of salt 1 comprises container with cleaned salt 2, placed in quartz tube 3, end covers 4 for sealing container 2, heater 5 equipped with device 6 for its movement along quartz tube 3, and glove box 7 is equipped with gateway 13, wherein glove box 7 and sluice 13 are configured to accommodate recrystallisation unit 1 in each of them and are interconnected, as well as to the inert gas supply system so that they have a single gas space.
EFFECT: technical result consists in minimization of contact of purified salt with atmosphere different from inert gas for all cleaning operations of halide salt, including loading of initial salt in container with cleaned salt and unloading of purified salt.
