FIELD: electrochemical technologies.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrochemical technologies and can be used in the study of physicochemical properties of alkali metal halide melts in order to assess their corrosive effect on the material of the equipment used. The device for preparing, purifying and studying the physicochemical properties of alkali metal halide melts contains a detachable container, the lower part of which is intended for a heated crucible with components for melt production, and the upper part is made with the possibility of groove connection with the lower part and is rigidly connected to a set of vertical pipes, built into the upper part of the container and fixed relative to each other in height by parallel transverse disks, closed with removable sealed lids.
EFFECT: invention provides the ability to carry out all operations of a high-temperature physico-chemical experiment in one container without violating its tightness.
