SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of microwave technology, namely to microwave devices designed for electrothermal processing of plant materials in industrial plants. The device for the disinfection of raw materials consists of a sectional working heating chamber (q sections) with a section in the form of a regular polyhedron, on n edges of which m microwave emitters are installed, sections without emitters installed at the inlet and outlet of the working chamber, a product conveyor belt located below the central axis the cross-section of a regular polyhedron by an amount from 0 to 3λ, and the width of the conveyor belt lies in the range from λ to 5λ and is determined by the size of the section, supply or exhaust ventilation system, lock chambers located at the ends of the working chamber.

EFFECT: increasing the uniformity of heating, which is especially important when carrying out disinfection and sterilization, increasing the transmission coefficient of microwave power from the radiators to the working chamber by minimizing the coefficient of transient attenuation between adjacent radiators, reducing the condensation of evaporated moisture when heating an agricultural product with microwave energy, improving conditions electromagnetic safety, simplifying the design by introducing a modular approach to creating a working chamber.
