FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to method of cereal products processing with electromagnetic fields of superhigh frequency (SHF EMF) and may be used in food industry and agriculture, mainly for receipt of puffed kernels at production of instant cereal products and animal feedstuff. The method includes impact to the processed product by SHF field, at that the processed product is introduced to the operating waveguide, wherein travelling-wave mode is generated with energy distribution along walls of the waveguide close to exponential due to radiotransparent product pipeline placed lengthwise along the axis of the operating waveguide, at that input of SHF field energy to the operating waveguide is made in opposite direction in regard to direction of the production motion at angle α to its axis, which selected with condition of 40°≤α≤50°; processing is carried out in one stage less than 2 minutes and power of electromagnetic power supplied to the operating waveguide is not less than 5 kW. The method is realised by above-specified device.

EFFECT: simple structure of the device having high efficiency and providing high quality of final product and safety of operating personnel.
