FIELD: temperature field measurement.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for measuring the instantaneous two-dimensional field of gas temperature during fuel combustion in turbulent flows occurring in the combustion chambers of transport plants and power facilities. A method for measuring the temperature field in reacting gas flows based on planar laser-induced fluorescence of a hydroxyl radical is claimed, in which a tunable dye laser with a pulsed solid-state Nd:YAG pump laser is used. The OH radical is converted to an electronically excited state when the transition Q1(8) of the band A2Σ+-X2Π (1-0) is excited, the values of the two-dimensional distribution of the ratio of laser-induced fluorescence intensities of the OH radical are determined, the intensity of the OH fluorescence signal for the band (2-0) and for the bands (0-0) and (1-1) are recorded in the spectral ranges 265±5 and 310±10 nm, respectively, using two digital cameras with image brightness amplifiers based on electron-optical converters with band-pass optical filters and subsequent comparison with the calibration curve.

EFFECT: registration of the instantaneous temperature distribution in the reacting flow in the entire measurement plane, in the temperature range from 1200 to 2200 K with high accuracy (the standard deviation is less than 80 K) in laminar and turbulent flows for a wide range of fuels.
