Heat-insulating material based on wood fiber is made from a mixture including, wt.%: adhesive solution based on high–molecular dextran 30, technical gelatin 5, surfactant – alkyl benzene 2, antiseptic 7.5, retardant 10, wood fiber is the rest, or from a mixture including, wt.%: adhesive solution based on high–molecular dextran 35, technical gelatin 5, surfactant - alkyl benzene 3, antiseptic 5, retardant 7.5, wood fiber is the rest, or from a mixture including, wt.%: adhesive solution based on high-molecular dextran 40, technical gelatin 5, surfactant – alkyl benzene 2, antiseptic 2.5, retardant 5, wood fiber is the rest.

EFFECT: creation of an environmentally friendly heat-insulating material based on wood fiber using a modified binder that has high technical and economic indicators and increased fire and bio-resistance.
