FIELD: powder metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to powder metallurgy, in particular to the manufacture of a three-dimensional powder product by the method for layer-by-layer laser synthesis. Layers of powder of a given thickness are sequentially applied, leveled with a knife or roller, each layer is treated with laser radiation in three stages. At the first stage, the powder is processed with laser radiation along the perimeter of the product, while the ratio of the width of the perimeter to its thickness is 1-5. At the second stage, the perimeter of the product treated with laser radiation and the powder inside it are subjected to deformation by upsetting or rolling with a degree of deformation of 2-12%. At the third stage, the powder is processed by laser radiation inside the melted perimeter or perimeter of the product and the powder inside it. After the powder layers are treated with laser radiation, the product is deformation processed.
EFFECT: reduction of defect formation, achievement of optimal and uniform density of each layer, improvement of fusion or sintering quality, and increase of technological capabilities of the process.
