FIELD: material engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for obtaining a protective composite coating on the surface of a metal product and can be used in mechanical engineering, transport and other industries. A regular wavy relief is formed on the surface of a metal product by machining with a cutting tool with a step equal to the size of the feed of the cutting tool, and with amplitudes of relief height and roughness within the tolerance limits for the size of the product. Then the formation of a thermodiffusion zinc layer with an open porosity of up to 10% is carried out. After that, an outer layer of antifriction non-metallic composite is applied, obtained by mixing a binder based on polymer dispersion, diluent and fine polytetrafluoroethylene particles up to 5 microns in size.
EFFECT: invention provides a composite coating with increased adhesive strength of the layers, wear resistance and corrosion resistance, while reducing the complexity of maintenance of friction units.
