FIELD: production technology of structures with the use of polymer composite materials.
SUBSTANCE: rubbing surfaces of machine parts, in particular plain bearings, are used as a working layer. Method of joining a polymeric material and a metal-containing base to obtain a composite structure for structural elements of the mechanisms is characterized by preliminary local preparation of the metal-containing base which consists in the formation of a combination of a set of relief irregularities on the contact surface in the form of elevations and depressions randomly or orderly distributed with a surface density of 50-1000 pcs/mm2 that have figured outlines in the profile with a maximum transverse dimension of 20-100 microns with the wall orientation of most of the mentioned elevations and depressions at the angle of 45-90° to the specified contact surface. Control and diagnostic measurements of geometrical parameters of the specified set of relief irregularities are carried out; a polymer mass in a partially molten state with a sickness of at least 10 microns is applied to the relief irregularities, the connected section of the mass penetrates into the relief irregularities covering them externally, due to fluidity it occupies and envelops the free volumes of prepared elevations and depressions, which provides heat removal at the junction of the structure parts and reduces the thermal expansion of the structure; in the case of an external force mechanical action the occurrence of counter-forces is ensured, which prevent the separation or displacement of the fused parts of the structure.
EFFECT: method for joining dissimilar materials which ensures the strength of the joint, as well as its resistance to mechanical, chemical and thermal effects, resulting in the formation of a holistic and fracture-resistant composition from one of the surfaces consisting of a polymeric, in particular anti-fractional, composite material.
