FIELD: railways.
SUBSTANCE: method for separate long-term storage of a demountable metal ramp consists in constructing a trench near the railway facilities, below ground level, in the form of a rectangular parallelepiped with a draining soil base. The walls of equal height greater than the height of the package are made of brick. Each wall ends with a horizontal platform at ground level at the top. All elements of each ramp are collected into one package. Two balks are laid parallel to each other on the pallet, with the working surfaces facing down, pressing by the side walls, wherein the bends of the balks are directed in the same direction. The pallet constitutes two supports with a rectangular cross-section and a length equal to the length of the balk. The supports are placed one on top of another and connected in the centre with an axis. Blocks are attached at the edges of the supports from above in sockets allowing for rotation around the vertical axis, and from below the supports are provided with one compensator of the equal height. The balks are laid on the support so that the blocks abut the side walls of the balks. One connecting pipe with inserted restraining pins is placed on each of the four brackets placed in one of the balks. The brackets are placed so that the elements of each bracket with a tip are pressed to the side walls of the balk, and the element connecting the elements with the tip is pressed to the wall whereto the side walls are attached. Three fasteners in the form of an elastic element in the form of a strip of metal coiled around an imaginary cylinder are installed on the pipes. The annular part of the fastener has a diameter slightly larger than the diameter of the connecting pipe. The ends of the annular part - the stops - are in the same plane and parallel to each other. On top of the two balks laid on the pallet, two more balks are laid parallel to the lower ones through transverse wooden linings, the working surfaces whereof are directed upwards and the bends are directed to the side opposite to the side wherein the bends of the balks placed on the pallet are located. A connecting pipe is placed in one of the balks laid on top, together with the restraining pins held in the balk by fasteners. A cable is threaded through all the blocks in each package, the ends whereof are connected. After all the balks are laid on the pallet, each piece of cable located between the blocks and on the side of the bends of the balks is laid between the hitches on the balks placed in the package on top. Then each fragment of the cable located between the blocks on the side of the lateral sides of the balks is simultaneously pulled until the fragments of the cable located on top of the balks fasten the balks on the pallet. The fragments of the cable of one package, the pulling whereof was used to fasten the balks on the pallet, are stacked on top of the balks in the package. Then reinforced concrete slabs covering the trench are installed on the site. Waterproofing roofing material is then installed.
EFFECT: ensured long-term storage of the ramp, not requiring maintenance, is achieved.
