SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a coffee-maker and to a method for brewing coffee or other beverage using hot liquid, including tea. The coffee-maker comprises a container with internal volume, a closed end and an open end. A lid contains an inner side with an internal area and an outer side for sealed closing of the open end. The coffee-maker also contains an output and a manually controlled hermetically sealed valve opening or closing a flow path between the container and the output. A coffee filter is attached to the inner side of the lid in the flow path between the container and the output. The output is designed to provide the possibility of pouring coffee, when controlling the valve, wherein the coffee-maker valve can be switched from a closed position to an open position at the closed end facing upward and the container located above the lid without sprinkling coffee on a user controlling the valve.
EFFECT: providing a device for making freshly brewed coffee that does not depend on external energy source, for example electricity.
