FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for producing composite poorly soluble rhenium electrodes for multifunctional purposes. The method includes the application of a thin porous oxide non-conductive microarc coating on titanium and is characterized in that the through pores of the microarc coating are filled with rhenium in a galvanostatic mode at a cathode current density of 0.01 A/m2 for 180 minutes from a solution containing 15 g/l of KReO4.5 ml/L H2SO4, and electrical contact of rhenium with titanium is achieved by removing the oxide layer on titanium by etching in a solution containing 200 g/l H2SO4, 0.2 g/l NaF. The invention also relates to a composite poorly soluble rhenium electrode obtained by this method.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to obtain a non-porous thin composite electrocatalytic coating of rhenium on titanium through a sublayer of MAO coating, as well as cost savings due to the occupation of a part of the volume of MAO coating and the ability to accurately control the thickness of the rhenium layer above the layer of MAO coating, which makes it possible to obtain a minimum thickness of the rhenium layer over the MAO coating on titanium.
