SUBSTANCE: clamp for repairing a ground wire and an overhead power line wire comprises a casing, a seat, and mounting clamps, made of an electrically conductive material. The seat constitutes a chute with an insert, the outer radius whereof is equal to the inner radius of the chute. Longitudinal cuts are made in the casing and the seat at the points of installation of the mounting clamps, the length of the seat exceeds the length of the casing, the casing is made in the form of a hollow cylinder, a section whereof is removed in the segment corresponding to the diameter of the wire. The seat is made so as to be movably insertable in the casing by the outer surface thereof, and the wire placed in the seat adjoins the inner surfaces of the seat, insert and casing after rotation of the latter.
EFFECT: increased strength of the repaired section of the wire.
