SUBSTANCE: in part of the device, the claimed technical result is achieved by the fact that the clamp for repairing the wire of the overhead power transmission line is at least two clothespins, connected to each other by a flexible electroconductive link, the length of which is determined by the length of the damaged section of the wire. Clamp installation method consists in approach to flight device wire with clamps installed on it with teeth at a distance, which is determined by the length of the damaged section of the wire. Clamp pins are held between the teeth of the staples in the opened state. When the flight-lifting device moves downwards, the wire enters inside the clothespins and the opened clothespins rest against the wire. With further movement of the wire relative to the clothespins upwards, the wire lifts the clothespins relative to the bracket, they disengage from the teeth of the staples and are compressed, covering the wire. When the clothespins rest against the bracket arch, the flight-lifting device begins to move from the wire upwards, moving the staples relative to the clothespins also upwards and leaving the clamp on the wire.
EFFECT: simplified process of device installation on overhead transmission line wire and increased functionality of the device due to wider range of wire sections requiring repair.
