FIELD: power industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to energy, namely to environmentally friendly and cost-effective methods and installations for generating thermal and electrical energy. The energy technology complex for generating thermal and electrical energy contains a power plant (1), a cryogenic air separation plant (2) connected to the power plant (1) by a liquid oxygen supply line and a liquid nitrogen supply line, a fuel source (3). Additionally, it contains a combined-cycle gas plant (4) (CCGT), made with the possibility of generating thermal and electrical energy, an electrolyzer (5) and an installation (6) connected to it for generating electricity from renewable energy sources (RES), while the electrolyzer (5) is made with the ability to produce oxygen and hydrogen from water coming from the power plant (1), the electrolyzer (5) is connected by an oxygen supply line (8) to the power plant (1) and by a hydrogen supply line (9) with the CCGT (4), which is also made with the possibility of transferring the generated energy to the cryogenic air separation plant (2) and the electrolyzer (5). The method for operation of the energy technology complex is also disclosed.

EFFECT: increasing the energy efficiency of the complex by increasing the use of thermal energy of the media circulating in the complex, as well as improving the environmental performance of the complex through the use of renewable energy sources (RES) for water electrolysis, and further production of combustible gas, hydrogen, for energy and oxygen generation, for burning carbon-containing fuels.
