FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power engineering, in particular to environmentally friendly and economically viable methods and installations for generating thermal and mechanical energy. The power engineering complex for the generation of thermal and mechanical energy includes a power plant (1) consisting of a combustion chamber, a steam-gas turbine connected to an electric power generator, lines for supplying oxygen, natural gas, water and carbon dioxide to the combustion chamber, as well as a line for cooling exhaust gases, made with the possibility of condensation of water and carbon dioxide, a cryogenic air separation unit (2), a coal mine ventilation system (3), while the coal mine ventilation system (3) is connected by an air supply line (5) from the coal mine (3) to the unit (2) cryogenic air separation. The complex contains an additional power plant (6) connected by a power supply line to a coal mine (3) and connected by a liquefied natural gas supply line (7) and a power supply line (8) with a cryogenic air separation unit (2), configured to provide liquefied oxygen by means (9) for transferring oxygen to the power plant (1). At the same time, the additional power plant (6) contains a tank for storing liquid hydrocarbons and is configured to regulate the amount of liquefied natural gas used in the plant, supplied from the line (7) for supplying liquefied natural gas and liquid hydrocarbons from the tank for storing liquid hydrocarbons. Also, a method for operation of the power engineering complex is disclosed.
EFFECT: increasing the efficiency of the complex at low concentrations of natural gas contained in the air from the mine, as well as ensuring the maintenance of a given level of heat and mechanical energy production, the production of the required level of liquefied gases, which is necessary at least for the operation of the complex.
