SUBSTANCE: installation for transportation and sorting, which can be used as an installation for transporting and sorting luggage at airports, contains: tilt electric motors 12 and 13, which switch modules 10, 11 of tiltable conveyors, supported with the possibility of swinging left and right around the support shaft parallel to the direction of transportation between horizontal orientation for transportation and orientation under the slope; conveyor drive motor, which drives the conveying belts 24a and 24b, which are provided for modules 10 and 11 of tiltable conveyors. The support shaft comprises a single mutually interlocked transfer shaft 19 having a length covering the entire area of the plurality of modules of tilted conveyors 10, 11. The conveying belts 24a, 24b of each module of tilted conveyors are articulated, being mutually interlocked, with a mutually interlocked transfer shaft 19. For the mentioned zone, one electric motor of the conveyor drive is installed, and this one electric motor of the conveyor drive actuates the conveying belts by means of a mutually interlocked transfer shaft 19.
EFFECT: design of the installation is simplified.
