FIELD: communication technologies.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to communication technologies and, in particular, to polar encoding technologies. A method for polar encoding is proposed. The method contains a stage, at which a sequence used to encode bits to be encoded is determined, in which the sequence has length N, and it is used to represent the reliability order of N polarized channels, and N is a positive integer of degree 2. Next, polar encoding of bits to be encoded is performed using the sequence to obtain encoded bits. The method contains a stage, at which the determination of the sequence used to encode bits to be encoded contains the determination, based on the length N of a parent code and the given sequence, of the sequence used to encode bits to be encoded.
EFFECT: increase in the performance of encoding/decoding the polar code.
