FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of radiochemistry and radiopharmaceuticals. The first invention constitutes a composition for producing a radiopharmaceutical based on alpha-emitting nuclides, including an aqueous solution of a salt of a radionuclide selected from: radium-223, radium-224, actinium-225 and daughter nuclides thereof, characterised by containing oxygen-18-poor water with a content of oxygen-18 of 0.1% to 0.002% and oxygen-17-water with a content of oxygen of 0.0185% to 0.00037% as an aqueous component. The second invention is a method for producing a radiopharmaceutical based on alpha-emitting nuclides: radium-223, radium-224, actinium-225 and daughter nuclides thereof, characterised by the fact that the described composition is used for producing the radiopharmaceutical.

EFFECT: reduction in the density of neutron emission from compositions based on alpha-emitting nuclides, providing conditions of safe storage, transportation and use in medical practice for preparations based on radium-223, radium-224, actinium-225.
