NOZZLE FOR COAXIAL POWDER FEEDING WITH THE POSSIBILITY OF PNEUMATIC ADJUSTMENT OF THE POWDER FOCUS Russian patent published in 2021 - IPC C23C24/10 B05B7/12 B05B7/14 B05B1/30

Abstract RU 2760490 C1

FIELD: powder metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for powder metallurgy and can be used in the manufacture of parts coated with metal alloys by laser cladding with synchronous powder supply. The nozzle for coaxial powder supply contains a laser head (1), a sleeve (3), a focusing lens (2) for focusing parallel laser beams, a protective glass (4) to prevent suspended microparticles from entering the sleeve (3) and contamination of the laser head (1) , a head (5) for coaxial powder supply, a cavity for powder supply, a jacket (12) with water cooling and a cavity (14) for water cooling. The cavity for powder supply is a tapering annular cavity formed between the outer wall of the head (5) and the jacket (12), divided into an inner (6) and an outer (9) cavity by means of an insulating plate (8) and adjusting blades (11). The inner cavity (6) is made with the possibility of transporting a gas flow carrying the powder, and its upper part is connected to a plurality of inlet holes (7) for the powder, distributed evenly at intervals and made with the possibility of connecting to the pipeline for the gas flow carrying the powder. The outer cavity (9) is a shielding gas channel, its upper part is connected to a plurality of gas inlets (10), distributed uniformly at intervals and made with the possibility of connecting to a pipeline for the shielding gas flow. The adjusting blades (11) can be made of red copper T2 and are evenly distributed in a circular direction, connected to the lower end of the insulating plate (8), made with the possibility of deflection relative to the head (5) and are trapezoidal arcuate blades with an arcuate cross-section perpendicular to the direction of the height of the trapezoid, and both sides are equipped with an extension part as a synchronized coordination structure. The cavity (14) is connected to a water inlet (13) and a water outlet (15). The cavity for the powder supply, the sleeve (3) and the laser head (1) are connected to the head (5) by means of a thread. The insulating plate (8) is a conical sleeve made of heat-resistant material. The adjusting vanes (11) are connected to the insulating plate (8) by means of a mechanical hinge or a fixed connection, and an expansion gap is maintained between adjacent adjusting vanes (11).

EFFECT: nozzle with pneumatic adjustment of the focus of the powder flow has a high sensitivity, a wide range of adjustment, as well as a simpler design compared to nozzles with mechanical adjustment, which provides the ability to process surfaces of complex shapes, increases the service life of parts and their reliability.
