FIELD: preparation of powders with increased anticorrosion properties. SUBSTANCE: process includes continuous feed of metal wire and gas into zone of burning of electric arc, injection of formed drops of metal into liquid coolant and subsequent removal of powder. Mixture of air and hydrocarbon substance at temperature exceeding that of metal boiling is used in the capacity of gas, solution of glycerin or ethylamine in distilled water is employed as coolant. Fast hardening of metal particles dusted by air plasma leads to formation of microcrystalline structure with high concentration of defects. EFFECT: increased anticorrosion properties. 4 dwg, 2 tbl
