FIELD: powder metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to powder metallurgy, in particular to the technology of laser synthesis by the method for selective laser melting. A method for manufacturing a composite material based on nitinol NiTi includes mechanical mixing of alloy component powders, placing the powder mixture in a selective laser melting unit and layer-by-layer laser melting of the formed material. Mechanical mixing of NiTi alloy powders is carried out, with an atomic ratio of Ni: Ti 1.04-1.07, and Nb in the amount of NiTi - 83-90 wt.%, Nb - 10-17 wt. %. Layer-by-layer laser processing of the formed material is carried out at a laser power of 100-300 W, a scanning speed of 500-1500 mm/s and a powder layer thickness of 30-60 mcm. After layer-by-layer laser treatment, annealing is carried out at a temperature of 600-1000°С for 1-6 hours.

EFFECT: invention provides a high yield point and a wide temperature range of martensitic transformation of a composite material based on nitinol, which makes it possible to increase the working life of products made from the obtained material and use them at higher loads and higher temperatures.
