FIELD: radio signal parameter measuring.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of measuring the parameters of radio signals and can be used in radio monitoring systems for the use of the radio frequency spectrum. A method for measuring the frequency of modulation of a frequency-modulated oscillation involves receiving a frequency-modulated radio signal and converting it into a power spectrum, the power spectrum is filtered, excluding discrete components at a level less than a given threshold, the frequency of each local maximum of the filtered spectrum is determined, as it increases, and it is redefined by averaging the frequencies of the local maximum and adjacent discrete components with a weight equal to the values of the power spectrum of these components, then, pairwise differences and their average median value are determined from the neighboring revised frequencies.
EFFECT: possibility of determining the modulation frequency from the spectrum of radio signals.
