SUBSTANCE: unit of a distancing frame and method for assembly includes a substantially linear channel containing two side walls and a base wall. The channel has a first and a second ends, including, when assembled, at least three sides and the corresponding angles between each of said sides. The first end includes a connecting structure and the second end includes the opposite end of the frame. The opposite end of the frame has an opposite channel for receiving the nose section of said connecting structure. The opposite channel includes a reinforcing flange extending inwards from the side walls relative to the channel. The connecting structure additionally includes a first hole in the base wall, containing a first protrusion into the channel, and the opposite channel comprises a second hole in the base wall, containing a second protrusion into the channel. The first protrusion therein tactilely interlaces with the second protrusion in the assembled state of the distancing frame.
