FIELD: structural elements.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to structural elements and a method for installing a cable or multiple cables. The channel element (20) has a support section (21) for at least one cable (10) and a guide section (22) that covers the support section (21) and is made integral with the support section (21). The guiding section (22) is designed to guide the specified at least one cable (10) to the supporting section (21) when the channel element (20) is rotated around its longitudinal axis.
EFFECT: invention provides a need for structural elements and methods by which a conduit for cable routing can be quickly laid and/or that do not require a separate cover element to close the conduit.
