SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of mechanical engineering and can be used in the manufacture of sliding bearings for various machines, in particular, in machines for the woodworking and textile industries, various types of conveyors, etc. A sliding bearing with an insert (3) made of an antifriction composite material consists of glued wood with a heat sink element in the form of a reinforcing mesh (6) located between the layers (4, 5) of glued wood. Heat dissipating elements (6) are placed in through holes of odd layers (4) of wood veneer made of modified wood, alternating with solid layers (5) of wood veneer. The total number of layers to be joined (4, 5), forming the insert (3), is set to be odd. Heat-removing elements (6) are placed in odd layers (4), and the configuration and sizes of holes in odd-numbered layers (4) correspond to the configuration and dimensions of heat-removing elements placed in them. The liner (3) is located between the support (1) and the inner (2) antifriction bushing with a thickness of 3-8 mm, after which the inner bushing (2) is expanded to form the required tolerance of the landing size of its functional roughness. The thickness of the heat-dissipating elements (6) is set equal to the thickness of the used wood veneer and is 1-2 mm, and their overall dimensions are 10-12 mm, while the heat-dissipating elements (6) are interconnected into a single reinforcing mesh by metal strips 3-5 mm wide and a thickness of 0.1-0.2 mm.

EFFECT: simplifying the design and reducing labor costs in the manufacture of wood-metal bearings, as well as ensuring higher stable tribotechnical parameters of bearing assemblies - their wear resistance and friction coefficient, achieved by increasing the heat dissipation and damping capacity of the liner material.
