FIELD: mechanical engineering; shaft supports for various machines; machines of wood-working and textile industries.
SUBSTANCE: proposed sliding bearing is provided with shell made from anti-friction composite material with metal heat-conducting elements. Heat-conducting elements are made in form of metal inclusions of various diameters distributed in thickness of shell by radial layers at varying concentration in each layer which is determined by the following formula: m=d3 incl/1.91·L3 where dincl is diameter of particles of inclusions, mm; L is center-to-center distance of particles of inclusions, mm; 1.91 is concentration coefficient; inclusions of maximum diameter are located in inner layer of shell. Shell has three layers of inclusions, 4 to 0.5 mm in diameter at content of 5 to 25% of volume of material in respective layer; center layer is thinner by two times as compared with extreme layers. Coefficient of center-to-center distance of particles is equal to 1.5-3.0.
EFFECT: reduced usage of metal; enhanced heat-conducting ability; enhanced dampening characteristics of shell.
